Ok, so when I saw this article, this makes me think of an App that is really popular these days. I bet everyone has heard before, but not all of us try it. Unless not me. That App is called Faceapp. Around two days before, my older brother send a photo in our family Line group and ask “Where did Connie go?” I clicked the photo and saw a girl with short hair smiling at me. Looking closer, it looks like me!! Exactly the same! And ask who is she? Why she looks like me? And I saw the logo “Faceapp” and soon realize something. Actually, that is my brother’s face, he used his picture to make a copy of his face and set the gender as female. The next day, I saw many of my cousins play this App, also the idol’s photo too.

The first thing hit my head is that is the App safe? How about privacy? Then I search online about this App. It said that this App was from Russia, and due to the privacy issues, they already banned this App, and you cannot use it. So what makes me more curious is that then why we can use it here? Actually that App has been invented for a long time. With this concern, I didn’t try that App like everyone else does.

In this article, a sentence really touched me: “My point in this art project is to show how technology breaks down the possibility of private life, it shows the future.” Perhaps just like this article’s topic, “Your face is big data” what do you think?
