Ten years ago, after the global data began to grow exponentially, there was no revenue breakdown. It is mainly carried out via the Internet, including social networks, Web search requests, text messages and media files. IoT devices and sensors have created another huge data sharing. There are expert opinions and five predictions in this article.
1.     Data volumes will continue to increase and migrate to the cloud
Most big data experts believe because most of the people are doing everything on the internet so that the amount of data generated in the future will grow exponentially.
2.     Machine learning will continue to change the landscape
Experts believe that due to more advanced unsupervised algorithms, deeper personalization, and cognitive services, the ability of computers to learn from data will be greatly improved.
3.     Data scientists and CDOs will be in high demand
If the amount of data continues to grow, the gap between the needs and availability of data professionals will also grow, so it will have a lot of needs in data scientists and CDOs.
4.     Privacy will remain a hot issue
The increasing amount of data presents extra challenges in protecting data from intrusions and cyberattacks because the level of data protection cannot catch up with the data growth rate.
5.     Fast data and actionable data will come to the forefront
Big data usually relies on Hadoop and NoSQL databases to analyze information in batch mode, but fast data is not the same, fast data allows processing in real-time streams. Because of this stream processing, data can be quickly analyzed in as little as one millisecond. If the value that provides for organizations rises, that means the organizations can make decisions and take action immediately when the data comes.
