When I first come across this article, I personally can relate to it so much as I am a person with severe sleeping problems. That is the reason why I am sharing this article as it explained how data can help improve people sleeping problems.

There are a lot of reason why people are having difficulties sleeping such as insomnia, restlessness, anxiety, depression, and many others. Therefore, with the information collected from a large sample of the population, scientists can use genomics, proteomics, and molecular data to pin down the root causes of many sleep disorders. For example, studies have found that genes associated with narcolepsy are involved in the immune system, leading to the discovery that narcolepsy is an autoimmune disease.

Different problems need different treatments so we can use data to compare and tract patients to help create a suitable treatment plan for their specific case. This can be possible with the help of apps and devices that can improve our bedroom environment quality. Data can also be used to find the most suitable mattress design for our physical and mental needs.

In conclusion, I think that data can be used as guidance for us to start improving our sleep as sleep is very important. If we have enough sleep, we can use our brain and overall body better resulting in a more productive and healthy lifestyle.
