 Big data is a field in which data scientists and engineers analyze, structure, use and learn massive data that traditional software can not cope with. Big data could help the organization to predict tendencies, learn people behaviors, make the best decisions and create new solutions to satisfy the demands of the modern world.


In this situation that coronavirus spread around the world, schools have to close and use online courses. The power of a myriad of eLearning  tools is transforming education right now. After that data scientists will examine all the information on how this software was used, what problems users faced, what their preferences were, how often or rare their attendance was, what tests they passed successfully and what information typed in could tell about them. Big data scientists will learn our behavior. Results will go to universities and companies to make a larger impact on education.


Big data also can detect the behaviors of learners in class. Data scientists aim to solve the problem of decreased effectiveness of some eLearning applications.They identify time and conditions when students sidetrack from the system. It can happen because of students paying no enough attention to do assignments, learners miss intended in learning. Thus, big data and behavior detecting assists teachers in analyzing reasons of ineffectiveness and finding new ways for students to help them struggle with their learning goals.


In the near future the educational system will revolutionize in the way it could tell students and schoolchildren which profession to choose, directing them to develop skills in Science or Humanities. Built on collected data and analytics, educational software will satisfy both learners’ and professors’ needs.

    Different ages of people need a different level of education. Education is aimed at everyone, no matter you are in a rich family or poor family. However, in recent year, the system of education is changing. Studying or teaching is not limited to school or university. The exponential growth of online learning is starting a new platform in the online. Many online launch an online course that allows people to join for free. So, the student can study in everywhere and anytime they want. Moreover, those online platforms are good with corporate with some top universities or professors to create a course together.

    Especially during this year, our world is frighting with the coronavirus. Many cities are lockdown and school is close. So, education goes remotely. People google eLearning programs, pupils install software to do their homework and have it checked online.

    Moreover, video streaming software is practiced by schools to conduct lessons by using a Team and other live software. Big data is widely using in the field of education. So, many universities start to open a program at learning analytics. Such as Columbia University launched it in 2015.

    What more, big data is not only helping students to learn but also help the teacher to teach efficiently. It helps the teacher to collect the data about how well or bad students have performed. So, teachers who could provide better assessment, evaluate the behaviors, skills to teach. Having the right methods to teach can improve the classroom environment and significantly increase learning opportunities.

    Nowadays, the coronavirus is a big problem for the whole world. The study is a thing that has been influenced a lot. To ensure that each student's right to be taught can be met, the school must launch online teaching to cope with the test of the epidemic. Take Fung Chia University as an example, we have international students in our class, but because of the coronavirus they can not come to Taiwan, like some exchange students can not come too, so online learning becomes very important.

    Through, big data become more convenient we even can use big data to analyze the students learning effectiveness. I think why online learning is not unvalued in before, is because using online learning has too many incentives that can cause students distraction and teachers can not make sure that the online learning students have put their attention on what he said. So it has not been unvalued before the epidemic happened. With big data analysis, I think this problem can be solved one day, through the analyze the online learning system can make adjustments according to every student's habits to avoid the student missed the key to learning because of inattention.
