This article describes how important big data is for the company, While Big Data offers a ton of benefits, it comes with its own set of issues. This is a new set of complex technologies, while still in the nascent stages of development and evolution. But there is still some challenge those company face when they use big data to analysis data.

1.Handling a Large Amount of Data
 This data exceeds the amount of data that can be stored and computed, as well as retrieved. The challenge is not so much the availability, but the management of this data. With statistics claiming that data would increase 6.6 times the distance between earth and moon by 2020, this is definitely a challenge.

2. Real-time can be Complex
 Because the data always changing, it hard for the company to use the current data, so It is important for businesses to keep themselves updated with this data, along with the “stagnant” and always available data. This will help build better insights and enhance decision-making capabilities.

3.Data security
 The source of data sometimes cannot be trusted, They need to use various data collection strategies to meet their data needs. In turn, this can lead to inconsistent data, which in turn can lead to inconsistent analysis results. If you analyze from different input sources, simple examples such as the annual turnover of the retail industry may be different. Businesses will need to adjust the differences and narrow them to valid and interesting answers.

4.Shortage of skilled people

Big data is a new field for the whole industry, it difficult for those employers to hire a person who is good at big data analysis, there is a lack experienced people and certified Data Scientists or Data Analysts available at present, which makes the “number crunching” difficult, and insight building slow.

    After reading some articles about how big data is helping us to live better or the rise of sales for retail business, it looks big data is unstoppable. But do big data has any difficult question need to face?

    This article is the answer. Big data need to handle uncountable numbers at the same time. It has data for everything, every human doing, so there is a huge explosion in the data available. However, what happens if those data exceeds the amount of data that can be stored and computed? How to control the size of data and how to have enough storage for new data? I believe it is a question to
    consider.

    The other challenge which I think is emerging is data security. The data keep all people records and know what did we search and what did we look at. The Internet feels very private and confidential but the truth is not. A lot of organizations claim that they face trouble with Data Security. It means those companies can not protect our self-information well and giving hackers a chance to move in. We are in a very dangerous situation if the hacker has stolen our private information such as a credit card number. So, the writer of this article suggests a business needs to adjust the way that collects data from the customer.

    In conclusion, we can not deny that big data is helping us to do many things. But we need to use those data carefully and a better understanding of the potential.
