After reading Chloe’s article, I have a
comment on her article. Most of Taiwanese know Shopee platform the best, some
customers like Shopee’s app classification or convenience operate actions, some
sellers like Shopee’s backstage system or trusted channel in logistics. Maybe
here are not the reasons you choose to buy or sell on Shopee, however, you can
deny with Shopee as a clever company. According to Pan, she focused on
enhancing the internal process to boost work efficiency as we as improving customer
experience and reduce operating costs. Pan also mentioned that there is a
strong culture of continuous learning within Shopee itself. Yes, definitely,
technology won’t stop, everything just gets better working gradually. One of
the things Pan did a really great job is feedback to the next generation. She
brought some E-commerce thoughts to a non-profit organization for some studies,
by caring for this strong information and knowledge within the team, sharing is
the most selfless actions in the world. However, I want to criticize some
disadvantages of Shopee’s backstage management. As an editor of Eyesfamily,
I work here and help them post sunglasses and some eyewear. On the Shopee, I
can’t prolong my shipping dates too many times unless I just need to post a few
products in my store. It could be trouble because of a shortage in our company.
Also, after you post a similar product without revising the product’s name, you may
not post it in a few days. I think it could be done for a better job if Shopee’s
AI technology grade up. Although Shopee has too many disadvantages could bother
user, but it still a great tool for B2C or B2B company.
