Comment: Facebook: A Decade of Big Data

It is really an important topic for most of us, Facebook is an online social media platform that almost everyone has an account or even more, and it has been turned on almost every day for everyone, that means, Facebook is closely related to the lives of most of us. We will see the latest news of our friends that we haven't met for a long time from Facebook, the posts posted by celebrities which we have followed, the fan pages of that we had followed, and some news that Facebook thinks we are interested in.

Facebook is very convenient for most of the users but there are many still some problems, and privacy is always the largest one, Facebook grasps the basic information of every user, and as long as we post on Facebook, Facebook can collect data from the posts that we post, and even if we search for anything in Facebook, Facebook can improve our basic preferences, also, Facebook can now recognize human faces, and when we post a photo on Facebook, we will be recommended to mark our friend identified by Facebook on the photo.

The database of Facebook is very large, and the privacy policy is not very detailed until now. Although Facebook always remains that when they are selling messages to advertisers and companies, they will remove users' basic information, such as name, phone, address, etc, but there are still some risks in using Facebook, and all of us who use Facebook must be cautious.
