Can Big Data Be Racist? According to the article, I think the answer is yes. Although the application of big data has been so developed, there is also discrimination hidden in the neutrality of big data.Under the application of big data, discrimination is wrapped in a coat of "technology neutrality". Under the general assumption that the software and algorithms used by big data are objective, the main body of the decision will use the "prediction" obtained by big data analysis as the basis for its decision, ignoring the underlying discrimination and prejudice, and the decision may be made It will only strengthen the original discrimination, and the consequences will be more serious. In fact, technology is likely to be biased. It may be that the selected cardinality is too small, the data used is incomplete, or the algorithm itself has problems. Turn the data into information. The calculus system is not foolproof, they rely on imperfect inputs, logic, possibilities and the people who design the system.

Using big data analysis to "predict", so as to judge certain types of people may "tend to" certain behaviors, but why they have such "tendency" requires further careful analysis and discussion.
