In fact, data analysis will not deviate from business existence, which industry you enter, to a large extent will determine your initial skill tree and skill points. For example, the risk control model in the financial field, the life cycle in the marketing field, and the click-through rate prediction in the advertising field have their own characteristics.

The route of data analysis can be roughly divided into four directions:
1.Data Analyst
This is a data analyst in the business direction.

2.Data exploration/algorithm expert: data post in technical direction
This is a technology-oriented data post, some are classified in the R&D department, and some are set up separately.Data exploration engineers require higher statistical ability, mathematical ability and coding skills.

3.Data Product Manager: Communication, project management, and demand planning as capabilities
This position is relatively new, it has two kinds of understanding, one is the PM with strong data analysis ability, and the other is the planner of the company's data products. The former is data-oriented to optimize and improve products. In a company with a strong product, data analysis will also be assigned to the product department, and even operations will also belong to the product department. This type of product manager has more opportunities to contact the business, which is a typical example of doing the job of the analyst.

4.Data engineer: the underlying engineering implementation and architecture
Data engineers are actually more technical.
