This article is telling us about the responsibility fo protecting the data of individuals and also explained about the work of the knowledge scientist. What is a knowledge scientist and what is their work? In the website, it said that “A knowledge scientist is a person who builds bridges between business requirements, questions, and data. The goal of the knowledge scientist is to document knowledge by gathering information from business users, data scientists, data engineers, and their environments to make data more useful for AI, machine learning, business intelligence, data analytics, and more.”

As the author said in the article, “In that world, skills such as knowledge acquisition, knowledge elicitation, and knowledge specification were taught and used. These are lost arts in the industry today, particularly in the data science context. I believe that revisiting these approaches will be a key part of developing both the instructional curriculum and the tooling needed to support the knowledge scientist.”

I think that knowledge scientist they need a very wide and accurate vision of the data. Also, they need to have communication skills with business users and data engineers and programming ability.

    This article mentioned a position named knowledge scientist, who deal with tremendous information and make a good use in different data fields. Before reading this article, I have never heard about this kind of job content, so I do some research on the internet, later I found out that wasn't an easy job, you must be provided with data access and transformation methods such as query and programming languages. They should transform the data being provided by the data engineer and map it to the business meaning provided by the business user. They should be conversant in analytical and machine learning methods.

    Also,they play an important role in data industry, by cooperating with businessman, scientists and engineers, to build a communication bridge.

    In my opinion, I consider the knowledge scientist as one of the most intelligence job for me. Its job content cover too many links that I can't handle it. To sum up, it's a hard work.
