 Big data and sports analytics are changing the ways many things in sports have traditionally been done. They are allowing for new ways that have the potential to change how these teams scout future players.  
 By using predictive analytics,  teams will be able to get even more information that they can take into account when making their draft selection. Smart organizations will have to look at their current situation and see which prospect will be the most valuable to them and help their organisation to achieve even more success in the future. Predictive analysis will provide them with information that would hopefully fulfil their goals.
Teams utilize film and scouting services  to streamline the process of accessing that information. Data science and technology are now also playing an increasing role in the perception of draft prospects. Data science has been trickling into every part of the NBA scouting process, from the front office to the media to the fans and is altering it in new ways.
Data science started being used in the sports world after the emergence of Synergy Sports Technology. It is a service that collects film and statistics and compiles it into an easily accessible and user friendly database. Using this computer program, scouts are able to track every player’s actions and stats then immediately access the relevant game film in order for them to see those statistics in action. 
This service has had a tremendous effect on the scouting process. Having all of a player’s game clips for each statistic within a few clicks of the mouse makes the scouting way easier.
Ultimately, data science and sports analytics has been more well familiar to the sporting world, and the scouting process of NBA teams is one of many key examples of this. Teams are increasingly relying on big data in order to help their scouting departments. Media outlets are also increasingly integrating advanced metrics and analytics into their draft coverage which sparks fan conversations regarding draft prospects.

    Nice sharing, I love watching NBA, in the recent year I noticed that they have changed their original ways of draft and track a player's performance. They use big data to help them make better decision which I think it's a new concept in NBA league. Thus, I believe that in the future, we can see more whole new transformation in NBA. Besides, I knew that NBA use video tracking system to help make decision recently. And from your article, with devices using cloud computing, fans can access the database to gain access to vast amounts of highlights and statistics. Also, fans can find the latest highlights involving their favorite players, or they might search for data of how one player specifically performs against another. It’s essentially wide open for how fans want to contextualize the information, but it can be particularly valuable for crafting better stories and informing people who follow basketball. The article takes Larry Bird for example, who is a legendary player in NBA history. However, the author stated that the three point scoring is not an efficient way to win because this full of risk. According to statistics, two point shooters need only 33 percent to achieve the same way. Overall, teams know the strategy as well as the players’ stamina. Still, they have to combine their original ways with big data to improve their decisions. And this makes NBA a new transformation to bring us the whole new visions.
