In this case we can learn how big data really useful for the airlines industry such as smarter maintenance. Especially, like fuel with big data the airlines can calculating how to make the route is more efficiency. Greater computational power has allowed airlines to gather and process huge volumes of data that enable them to analyze fuel consumption on a per-trip basis. Not only for fuel but big data is useful for part distribution aswell .

Nowadays, Flight more safely is because of big data also. With big data we can record and analyze the telemetry data from the incident plane. So in the future we can make the better program for the aviation safety. Also, it is improved the service quality because airlines can generate the customer behavior. They can provide what kind of services based on customer needs. Big data also help to prevent loss of baggage. By sync the ground staff app and number we can trace where our baggage is. Many Airlines passengers loosing their baggage before and cannot track where they’re baggage is . With this system they no need to worry anymore. This system is full of advantages .
Not just that with Big Data they can make the check -in and boarding time more faster than before.  Because Big Data also airport security system become better, there data is integrated with the police system. So, it makes easier to recognize if people doing a criminal.

  1. i think this article is educational and interesting to read. as we can see from the article that flight is more safety than before because they use big data technology in their company. we can see that big data is make the route for the flight more efficiency it can choose the safe route and the fastest route. big data also can generate the customer behavior so that airlines can provide customer needs and make customer feel satisfy and want to use that airlines again. the important thing of this big data in the airlines is they can prevent loss of tha baggage, this thing always happen in every airline. i have experience before, i loss my baggage from malaysia to taiwan. and they use big data to looking for my bag and finally my bag found and it still on malaysia they didn't put my baggage to the airplane. i have to wait for 2 weeks to get my baggage. if big data can prevent this its really good because customer always put the important things on their baggage for example their clothes, underware, etc they need that everyday and if have to wait for 2 weeks, they need to buy eveything instantly and its not good. and the last one that customer really need is about check in because if we want to check in we have to get in the line and have to wait for really long time and i'm really thankful if this big data can work to check in faster.

  2. Big data and its impact have received attention from the entire industry. Big data has an amazing ability to collect important information, which is about ticket sales and passenger numbers. By collecting important information, flight efficiency can be improved, and airlines, manufacturers, and passenger costs can be reduced.

The biggest opportunity comes from the use of big data and the sustainable development of technical methods for mining big data, collecting customer data has been constantly supplementing and improving each customer's information. Big data will play a role in various business areas of airlines such as aircraft maintenance, revenue management, marketing, staffing and fuel management. Enterprises should use big data to try new ideas and methods, improve operational efficiency, enhance the consumer experience, open up new revenue channels, and increase consumer viscosity.

Without big data analysis, it is very difficult to make a decision. They can only make decisions based on other analysis. However, if through big data analysis, airlines companies can consider various relevant factors, including information on boarding gates for arrival flights, walking and baggage transfer times between boarding gates, cost of changing passenger tickets, frequent passengers of relevant passengers and membership levels to make many decisions.
