5 Ways Big Data is Changing the Healthcare Industry

The article shows several ways big data is changing the healthcare industry. It is clear that the aging society could bring more times about physical pain to the elders. Now I am going to introduce some ways that how big data could improve the healthcare industry.

First, big data can prevent human errors. There are examples that the professionals tend to either prescribe a wrong medicine or dispatch a different medication by mistake. Using big data can confirm the data potential out of place prescriptions to reduce mistakes and save lives.

Second, big data can assist in high-risk patients. Big data means digitized, it can identify the patients approaching the hospital repeatedly and identify their chronics. This way can give patients better care and provide insight into corrective measures to reduce their frequent visits. It can always check on the high-risk patients and offer them customized care.

Third, big data can help with health tracking. Big data along with the Internet of Things is revolutionizing the way one can track various user vitals. This continuous monitoring of body vitals with the sensor data collection allows the healthcare industry to identify potential health issues and provide care before the situation goes worse.

To my opinion, if the healthcare the industry successfully improved with big data, we can effectively decrease the number of several diseases and have more human resource to develop some medicine that may help certain human beings. Maybe in the future, we can use big data to understand the proportion of various diseases recovered around the world.
